Welcome to the Holy Grail of Stringer’s Hot Takes. The RPOTM’s.

Here, you will find all 30 NBA teams, each with their own player dubbed as the Role Player of the Month. This is a very prestigious award and is not to be taken lightly. (This is a completely made-up award for my own, and of course your own, entertainment.)

The winners of this award will be hand-picked after countless hours of watching film, analyzing box scores, and diving into advanced analytics. This will not be another one of your casual lists based on who has the most “aura” or “got that dawg in them.” These players are the ones executing their roles at an elite level, day in and day out. No complaints. No excuses. Whether its grabbing a crucial offensive board or switching onto the opposing team’s best player and clamping up, they’ll do it. They deserve to be talked about more often and finally receive some credit that the mainstream media rarely seems to give them.
